Arriving in Furusund by boat, you dock in the heart of one of the Stockholm Archipelago’s most historic destinations. A popular retreat since the early 20th century, Furusund has long inspired artists and musicians. It appears in Fagervik and Skamsund by August Strindberg, where Fagervik represents Furusund, and was immortalized in “Vals i Furusund” by Evert Taube.

The guest harbor accommodates up to 100 boats and offers a full range of facilities, including toilets, showers, sauna, electricity, fresh water, and laundry services. Right by the harbor, the charming yellow house hosts a harbor restaurant serving light lunches and dinners, along with ice cream, wine, beer, and coffee.

During summer, live troubadour performances take place several days a week on the waterfront terrace, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Harbor fees start from SEK 150 and are paid upon arrival. If the harbor office is closed, guests are kindly referred to the nearby inn, located about 200 meters from the marina.

Enhance your stay by renting a sauna raft or jacuzzi—contact reception for bookings. Breakfast buffet is available at the inn and can be reserved in advance.

The harbor is open year-round.
