Vinga Guest Harbor

Location: approx. 57°37.5′ N, 11°36.3′ E
Nautical Charts: 9313 SW and 9313 NW
Harbor Depth: about 1.5–2.5 m
Guest Berths: approximately 25 guest berths available in the protected west basin and on the west-facing dock.
Mooring: Fixed stern mooring is the primary option. Anchoring is not permitted within the guest harbor itself.

 

Vinga Guest Harbor is on Vinga Island, the westernmost point of the Gothenburg Archipelago in Sweden. The island is known for its iconic lighthouse, dramatic rocky landscape, and rich maritime history. Around the harbor you’ll find scenic views, a kiosk, barbecue area, and walking paths to explore the island’s nature and heritage.

• Access to a kiosk offering snacks, drinks, and ice cream during the summer season
• Barbecue area for guests

Additional Notes
Vinga Island is famous for its lighthouse and maritime history, and it has a relaxed, scenic atmosphere. Boaters often stop here to explore the lighthouse, enjoy the island’s nature, watch seabirds, and walk to viewpoints. The island is not part of the regular public transport system — most visitors arrive by private boat or seasonal tour boats.
