Styrsö Bratten Guest Harbor

Location: approx. 57°36.9′ N, 11°47.8′ E
Nautical Charts: 931 SE and 9313 SE
Harbor Depth: about 1.5–5 m, with deeper water closer to the outer side.
Guest Berths: approximately 10–15 guest berths available. Exact count can vary depending on water level and season. These are alongside berths on the dock.
Mooring: Alongside mooring at the pier is the primary option. In some cases buoys may be used if available. Anchoring outside the harbor is generally done elsewhere due to shelter conditions here.

 

Styrsö Bratten Guest Harbor is located on the northeastern side of Styrsö Island in the southern Gothenburg Archipelago, Sweden. The harbor sits in a sheltered position with easy approach in most weather conditions, even in the dark. Nearby there are recreational areas including playgrounds, courts for tennis, boule, and volleyball, and a bathing beach about 150 m away. Styrsö itself has shops, cafés, and restaurants, and is known for its traditional island charm.

Visitors to Styrsö Bratten can usually find basic amenities nearby on the island such as cafés, general stores, and beach facilities. Within the harbor area itself there are:

Water and electricity may be included in the berth fee. Styrsö has a wider range of services including food, shops, and transport connections to Gothenburg.

Styrsö is a charming, car-free island with scenic walking paths, swimming spots, and traditional island life. Bratten has a popular beach and café and restaurant options close to the harbor, making it a pleasant stop for boaters and visitors alike.
